> In order, what are the top five things that make CF worth the hours? In order? No paticular order really...but I'll list off five things for you * It's fun. I'm an old AD&D guy, and about the time I was 14 I not only ran out of people I could stand being around that played, but ran out of the time to make up worlds to play in (yes, I was typically a DM...and Araile and it's story spin directly from one of the realms I created). I enjoy not only the playing side, but also the 'DM'ing' side as an immortal. Shok's role is also fun. * As Twistgrimnr put it, friends. There's a lot of the crew in the immstaff that I consider friends, and enjoy chatting with. * The stories told, and the telling. A lot that happens in Thera has the feel of a good fantasy novel come to life, it's one of the reasons I tend to hang around the Inn when there are a lot of Troupers, I like hearing the spin put on some of the stories. * A chance to be part of this, and to see ideas blossom and come to life...and then be used. Paladins are one of the best examples I can list, because I was part of the revamping of them. * It's cheesy, I know, but it's true...it's cool to think about doing something like this, that I enjoy, that gives a sizeable chunk of people I've never met something they enjoy doing. "Welcome to the house of fun."
(I also enjoy setting Twist's characters up with good gear)*
- Madness
*this too is a joke, I don't actually enjoy it.
