Time to give cf the boot again.

And here are my crappy descs and roles.

Paratus:
Your description is:
Darkness and Elegance enshrouds the Human before you.
The robes of aritocracy are worn with dignity and pride.
And an air of superiority is set off by this Human. As you
continue to look at him, you see a glimpse of his face.

Paratus' face is narrow and well defined in features. His
cheeks are a bit hollow, and he has a long slim nose.
His chin sticks out quite a bit, yet he takes pride in this
and seems to have his head up in his 'air of superiority'
constinently. His eyes are the color of Autumn leaves,
in that they change anywhere from black, to brown, to
even orange, depending on the season. His hair.. does
not show signs of aritocracy. It is cropped short, and
set to spike up in the air.

Where is his vast amounts of robes do not,
cover his body, signs of illness can be seen.

Paratus isnt what he appears to be, neither
by the clothes he wears, nor the way he
acts. He is not an aristocrat, nor even
remotely rich. He grew up never knowing
his parents, nor any relatives. He grew
up alone.

Paratus grew up in the slums of Seantryn
Modan, where the splendor of the
Empress' palace and guildhalls seemed
to tower over the city. Every day Paratus
had to fight for his survival. Stealing from
the merchants for food, running from the
guards continuasly. His life on the streets
had its bad and good side. His knowledge
of life and the normal, every day people that
work the shops and wander the streets
flourished under his life. Yet.. his body was
failing him. He was becoming sickly, and
was well aware of this. Paratus knew he
couldnt survive in these harsh conditions

forever. So he went and sought
apprenticeship from the first guild hall he
could think of that did not require a strong
body.

Paratus travelled to the mage's tower in
search of his apprenticeship. He was
turned down at the invoker's and
conjurer guild halls. The necromancer
guildmaster would have glady taken him in,
but Paratus did not envy the death that was
heavy around the guild, due to his sickness.
At last he found apprenticeship at the
Transmuter guild hall. He was filled with
happiness at first, then that quickly turned
to discouragement. For months he was
practically a maid to the Guildmaster, he
would mop the floors and clean the guild
hall every day. A year later, he couldnt
take it anymore.

[Hit Return to continue]

The Guildmaster trusted Paratus, for a year
Paratus had been working for him, and he was
soon to finally bring him under a real
apprenticeship. But Paratus had other plans.
Taking a sacraficial dagger, that the guildmaster
would use to make sacrafices to his deity,
Paratus sneaked into his room with the stealth
that years on the streets had taught him.
Watching the Guildmaster's chest heave up
and down, Paratus raised the dagger high, and
struck down.

The next night, when the Seantryn Guards found
the Guildmaster in his night chambers, the dagger
was still stuck in his chest, but his robes were gone,
a grimoir of basic spells of transmutation, and so
was a map of the western continent.

Paratus, wearing the fine robes of aristocracy, his
map and grimoir. With his knowledge he gained from
his life on the streets and as a maid, walked
into the Academy, with head held high, and

under the name of Paratus Cetrenae. Upon
signing the forms to get into the Academy,
the street urchin Paratus, was now known
as Paratus Cetrenae, son of a well known
Guildmaster in Seantryn Modan.

Vaenubis
Your description is:
Before you a giant stands twelve feet tall. Long flowing white hair
glistens in the light and falls about shoulder length. His head looks
somewhat like a block, (but dont tell him that.) and he seems to
take care of the way he looks. His eyes are a strange color, they
seem to be an opaque white. The giant looks to be as strong as
several men, his muscular frame clearly showing through his
garments. Twigs and leaves can be easily seen throughout his hair
and various places on his clotheing and garments. The giant must
spend a lot of time out of the confines of the city.

role:
The Beginning: Out on the sea, where the water is beautiful and its
colors change like that of a rainbow, where the cool wind breeze
always blows, and it always seems like spring time. This is where
Vaenubis grew up. His father and mother were common people,
living on the land, and making most of what they needed. They
would only return the citys when they needed something they
couldnt make or on special occasions to visit family or join the
festivitys. Vaenubis is the only child of Betraien and Laurya
(his parents).

The Surroundings: Vastness, this can describe Vaenubis' home.
Imagine this, a lush forest, everything is green. There are flowers
and tall grass growing under the canopy adding a variety of color
to the place. Insects and birds and animals all live in harmony here.
To the east a tall rocky cliff can be seen. If you were to climb this
cliff, you would be mesmerized by all the colors of the sunset.
For days of walking on end, there isnt another soul except the
occasional traveler or hunter. The forest ends about 20 feet from
the ocean, a drop of 5 feet seperate the forest from the beach's
sand. The beach is awesome, its sand is black and sparkles
a variety of colors under moonlight. Shells can be found in
[Hit Return to continue]

abundance here and so can a few animals. The ocean is a pool
of different colors: Greens, blues, purples. Its waters are filled
with life, schools of fish swim throughout its depths. Shellfish can
be found on the floor of the Ocean providing a superb meal. And
great mammals can be seen occasionally hunting for food. The skys
are a sight to be seen, its clouds are white and always in motion.
One of the favorite pastimes of Vaenubis, is to lay down on the
eastern cliff and look up at the sky during an autumn night and
just stare at the vastness of stars. This place is truly beautiful.

The Childhood: While growing up, his parents taught Vaenubis
of the basic things to know, to survive alone in the wilds. Things
such as how to gather food, find water, and build a shelter. But
most of all, his father taught him of honor, and a fair fight. His
father always tried to spend some time with Vaenubis, though he
was always busy. But while growing up, Vaenubis didnt have many
friends, because there simply wasnt anyone around him. So often,
he would let his imagination soar above his home, and go elsewhere,
anywhere he wanted too. Fighting monsters, rescuing damsels,
saving the forest, these were Vaenubis' favorite things to imagine.
When he wasnt busy pretending, Vaenubis would help his mother
[Hit Return to continue]
out around the house, doing little odd jobs that he could do. His
mother and father were pleases with thier son.

The Adolscents: Vaenubis beginning to mature now, his father
takes him out into a clearing, and uncovers a carefully hidden
rack. Vaenubis is amazed in the least. Weapons and armor
line the rack front and back. And so does a strange smelling
herb. His father tells him to forget about the herb and gives
Vaenubis a sword. For the next few years to come, Vaenubis
is taught the arts of war and woodsmanship. He is taught to
fight in harmony with nature, and how to use it to his best
advantage. And with a love for nature, and a love for fighting,
Vaenubis was good at what he did. His father was teaching him
well. So for the next few years, Vaenubis stayed with his
parents, learning what he could from his parents. Cherishing
his moments with them. But one autumn night, while looking
up at the stars, Vaenubis had a dream. In a distant place,
where there were big citys, and many different races of men,
and confusion. Vaenubis was awe struck by all these different
people. And he was also terrified by thier lust, greed, and hatred.
But he also saw deep in the mountains, far east, a glimmer of
hope. A few good men.
[Hit Return to continue]

The Youth: With the blessings of his father and mother,
Vaenubis headed out onto the sea, eventually finding
sanctuary with a ship that would take him to New Thalos.
When he arrived there he was dazzled by the busy city
life, its colorful array of people, and activites. In a bar
there Vaenubis met a pair of drunks, they said they would
be willing to take him to Galadon. And that they did, but
the day he arrived in Galadon and said his farewells to the
two men, he later found he was a bit shorter on coins then
he was before he met them. Vaenubis knew he had to be
more careful around the big citys. Eventually Vaenubis
came across the famed Academy. There he trained his
strength and endurance. And practiced more of the art
of war. When he ventured further into the place, he war
disgusted by the vile creatures there and slew them
repeatidly. He was terrified at first of the soldiers there,
but charged into them and smited them with force!
Vaenubis then looked back on the display of carcasses
and creatures and fled from the academy. He couldnt
stand being in the foul smelling place any longer.
[Hit Return to continue]

He fled from the city out into the forest, there he saw
a tall ranger, standing guard over a haven of sorts.
And in that haven he found an old ranger, willing to
teach him, and be a friend to him. Vaenubis had found
a friend, and perhaps his future.

Soernga
Your description is:
A man with a dark tan is here in the lavish clotheing of
a merchant. His height is slightly taller then average
among the human races. His long rave-black hair flows
effortlessly on his back. His eyes are a deep blue, a more
humbled blue, not a blue of the fierceness of youth. He
looks at you as if his eyes have seen travels, have seen
darkness, and have seen the wonders of youth. He no
longer takes long, deep strides. But rather short, thought
out steps. But all the same, he always takes the steps
forward, never looking back, always toward the future,
toward his fate.

Soernga as a young boy grew up on the farms of Ofcol.
On those farms he lived with his father, mother, and
sister. He was brought up to be a farmer as if fate
had decreed this to be his sole thing to do in this
world. Throughout his youth Soernga would always
look towards Ofcol, the "big" city. Always under
the shadow of it and its protectors, the Arbiters.
It must have been a dream of every child in that
region to become an Arbiter. Soernga was one of
these. He dreamed to be a protector of the people,
something important, something people looked up
to. One night, on an urge, Soernga packed what few
possesions he had, and left his home in search to
become an Arbiter.

Added Sat Feb 19 14:55:35 2000 at level 1:

In the busy city of Ofcol, Soernga met many different
types of people. All sorts of races and professions.
But one profession caught his eyes. He had witnessed
a cleric save a mans life. That struck something in his

heart. The ability that a man.. a simple man... could
save someone else's life. Soernga followed the man
around the rest of the day, until the man went into a
bar. There he confronted him. Soernga introduced
himself and expressed his desire to become a healer.
That is when the man told him of his deity, the Lord
Guerric. Soernga was mesmerized by the storys the
old man told him. The old man taught Soernga for a
few years. When Soernga was of age, the man sent
him away. Soernga must go to the academy to study
further under the clerics there. Must go through his
own trials and tribulations. Must learn the ways of the
world and become something in it. Soernga must become
something...someone.

Maturity: At a youthful age, Soernga fullfilled his childhood
fantasys and became an enforcer of the law. Joy filled his
heart at his new responsibiltys and the pleasures and pains
that came with them. He became more widly known, and
looked upon. Something he had always desired. To be

reconized for his work. To be someone or something, a part
of something big.

Then unknowingly traveling with one who was in full force
of the Entropics, Soernga was ousted from the Hall by the
Dark Lord Astein. A childhood dream shattered, broken
and torn. Soernga stepped foward and decided that the
fates had decreed him not to be an enforcer of the law.
Full of anxiety for the future, Soernga now seeks something
else to fullfil his needs, something to become a part of.
Soernga steps forward now, toward his future.
