(decided on a doing a rager type eventually since but yet again things have come up so i've broken my stride with this character)

Yavathol, twin of Tyrion, son of Arathion.

Two hundred years ago in the time of the Orc Incursion Yavathol was one of the most powerful mages of the wood elf race.
So much so that spells and artefacts have been named after him.

Born into one of the oldest families of Yol Tvresse, Yavathol can trace his ancestry back to the doomed Phoenix-King Aenarion. He was taught by the Loremasters of the Tower of Hoth and became a true master of the High Magic.

Yvathol oft travelled the Loren Forest searching for the silvery bark of branches fallen from the Lornalim tree that is held so sacredly that those who enter the Wood Elf domains and chop down such trees are shown no mercy. Upon one such day he came upon a shrine to (a certain made up god).

The curious words written in old tongue upon the cave walls intrigued him. The words sang and shifted as gazed upon them, as they weaved themselves about his soul. From that day forth, he dedicated his life to (a certain made up god), the Lord of the Dance.

The god of the elven wardancers, wood elves believe he was born before all other creatures, he is the First Being, an amalgam of sound and motion whose dance holds together the universe. He is a deity of music and war, and worshipped by Wood Elves in general.

(a certain made up god) granted some with the gift of dance and the curse of death. He taught them the way of war, the Dance of Death. No joy, no happiness, just death to those who would threaten the elven way of life, the elven culture. She also taught them the Dance of Sorrow, to mourn the deaths they had caused. Those that were given the burden of killing could not lose the gift of compassion.

Elves have developed a disciplined form of eidetic memory that remembers everything but their brains only have so much capacity and they periodically review their memories and forget unimportant events.
Having learnt from the word of (a certain made up god) that the ways of magic interfered with the Dance and thus, he underwent this elven technique of Bran Wa Shin to erase his knowledge of magic.
and become (character name), devout of (a certain made up god).

For a time (character name)s' self-appointed mission was to travel the Loren forest keeping it safe from the vile goblinoids or worse but, as it was fated, in his travels he came upon a troupe of Wardancers. Recognising the touch of (a certain made up god) he was taken in to the troupe as one of their own, and taught the Dance.

The Wardancers are a unique form of Warrior-Troubadour. They have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of the art form known simply as "The Dance". Wardancers have honed their skills into a swift and deadly art.

In addition to their fighting prowess, they were also the masters of courtesy and dance. Their Art Work is some of the most prized in the Old World. Wardancers balance the instant perfection of combat and the lasting perfection of their artwork.

Realising how greatly magic dominated the land, (character name) chose to waste no time in the isolation of the forest and left the troupe to spread the dance and destroy the magic which he once practiced.
