(some spelling may be off but i'll fix that later, just wanted a little help to see if this is ok, or if my role is wrong, any suggestions?) My mother was an elf from Daryslyn, She traveled a lot when she was growing up, and she had me when she was very young. My father, was a human from Balator. She met him travelling from Galadon to New Thalos one day. He was her first and only love for she had ever known. I did not know much of my mother and father, as I was just a baby when they died. The only reason why I know of how they met are from the love letters and the diary my mother had left behind and past on to me. Those are the only things I have left of my past. For all I have every known, the person who raised and took care of me, were my family. The only person in my life at the time I was growing up was a half-elven man like myself. He told me he came across a crying baby who was left in the bushes one day as he was making his way out of the ruins somewhere south-west of Galadon. He imagined something had gone wrong when he found me there along with a small book and some letters. Deep down inside that half elven heart he knew what he had to do, the right thing. He would raise me as his own. We traveled a lot, but no where far. Mostly Galadon to New Thalos where he would buy chickens by the dozens, But I remember travelling south of Galadon many times, for he loved to visit a man near the mountains where he would purchase many roasted ducks, as they were his favorite in all the lands of Thera. Galadon was his home and he loved being there every minute of it, even until his death. He had fallen ill, stricken with plague and died one night after another horrible outbreak. Stricken with grief I prayed to the gods for help, but nothing could be done for him. I was now a young boy all by myself. Afraid and scared I ran, Tears running down my face I ran. where? I wasn’t sure for the tears blurred my vision for I could not see clearly. I ran but not very far. Not being able to see clearly of where I was heading I collided with one of the Guildmasters in Galadon. With a wave of his hand, came a swirling mass of air that surrounded me and picked me up from my feet. My mouth dropped in amazement. I stood up as tall as I could but stood no further than his chest. He advised me to becareful and to watch where I was going, because Galadon was a dangerous place to be. So I quietly thanked him and went to grab my belongings that I had dropped in all this excitement. As I was beginning to leave, he asked me if I would care to see something interesting. I curiously nodded and he pointed into his guild. I went in, and there I started my training and my new life.
