[This is all I'd really feel right posting. The rest had to do with the specifics of his dealings with Cyradia, and the like. I also posted a story about Khiravn and a storm shaman on the main forum.]

Ingvar: The words of a necromancer echo within my mind this day.
To: scarabaeus cyradia

Dark Lady, Father,

Some time ago, I spoke with Avendella and others next to the guild
of necromancers, within the city of Seantryn Modan. The guard there
asked me "Is it possible for a hermit to lead a Pure life?"

I do not recall what I told him at the time, but it gave me pause.

After thorough and deep reflection... I have found my answer. As of
today, I no longer choose to be Voice of the Scarab. I will return to
the forests, and live my remaining years in quiet contemplation.

In my nine centuries, I have seen much of this world. I am wiser, but
my eyes have been opened to the state of mortal lives, as they Truly are.
I only find solace and pleasure in what lies within, and the Great Wild
Beast calls stronger than it ever has. The wilderness will be my only
company from this day forward. I will be, as I always have been, alone.

Your teachings have given my life true meaning. Do not mistake
my departure for displeasure with them. I will take them to my grave.

(in an elegant, practiced script)
- Ingvar Vittfaren, your student.
