One of the weirdest things I've ever seen in Empire was the day Alrin and Macheath killed Ignoah. I think Palonyte might have helped too, I can't remember. They killed him and took all his shit. And NOBODY was anathematized. I think Ignoah got anathematized a long time later, but for something different. Macheath and Alrin - Macheath especially - were constantly bending and outright breaking imperial law, and they never got more than a stern talking-to (if that). I smell a rat.
