Wouldn't it be crazy if Empire had to start from basically nothing? Picture this - they actually BUILD UP an Empire. From the start, they must use politics and under-the-table scheming to get what they need: Power. Enter roleplaying. Once they get this all-elusive political power, they begin to attract the players who enjoy roleplaying as much as killing (these players are often pretty good players, I might add). With good players come their little minions (read - the people who get killed by them and finally roll up an empire). Then Empire starts to get some more 'realistic' powers (can you say numbers?) and the pendulum shifts again. Just wait for it. I'd bet that in 3 months' time, Empire will be a major powerhouse again, and ragers will be on their ass or on the way out of the power race. But the last thing they need is more powers. Empire's already proven that they can dish out some massive problems with numbers. If the individual was powerful, why would they want to be in Empire anyway? It takes away from the group psychology (brainwashing?) of the cabal. Right. sparky
