I don't get it when the Empire despises any semblance of bonding. I played a mud where four characters ruled the land, helped each other, never let anyone else into their clique, and toyed with ninety percent of the other players because we knew the mud, and saw them all as pawns. There were a few intelligent players that always eluded us (they found the tricks of staying alive) that shows anyone could if they learned enough about the mud.

Perhaps Empire has this now and again and I am just not a part of the 'clique'. But it may also be the idea behind the way the Empire should be roleplayed (pushed by Immortals) .... is that all Imperials shit on each other constantly. This is a shallow way of looking at evil in my eyes. Hitler had his circle. Cesar did to, and I agree there should be overthrow at some point, or backstabbing of some kind, but constantly getting kicked out and NO bonding makes for ...as I said, a shallow view of evil.

I haven't played an Imperial for a year so I should keep my mouth shut. I bet there is a high council of people that bond, ally, and fuck the rest of the populace regularly.

A shallow view of 'lightwalking' - a polite gesture, a compliment, these are superficial in many cases, like saying you actually respect your boss at work, ho ho ho. I think these can be seen as a mask of intellectual evil, multi dimensional evil, smarter evil.

Tell me I ramble! Do it!
