I am curious to why some people seem upset if Minalcar was played by an immortal, or Zorszaul, or anyone, for that matter. Imagine if you will a 1971 cutlass 442 that you spend all week tuning and waxing and chainging ol and stuff, then when the weekend comes you do not get to drive your baby. that would blow. So why would someone get upset when an Imm who spends umptten hours a week working on this mud wants to take some time off of custodial duty and play for a little. So maybe he knows more about the game thant you do. I bet maybe I know some stuff you dont, and that my IRL brother knows a lot of stuff I do not. Big deal. As far as favorotism, i tell you that if I were an Imm I would be highly disapointed if I thought that my character mortal was getting hooked up because of my immortal. I would be upset with the Imm playing favorites and upset with myself for taking it. Sheesh, if Imms are not allowed to enjoy the game once in a while like us then I decline ever to Imm, cuz i have just too much fun here. On the other hand, I had the pleasure to be a newbie to the realm and still to work with Istendil. I understand that Nepenthe was Istendil, although I am not 100% this is true. Istendil never broke character and showed a young necromancer how to play a Black. He prolly showed lots of you who were willing to learn from another how to roleplay. That is my goal. So anyway, enough of blowing Istendil's horn, my point is there is nothing wrong with an imm playing from time to time. Kwitcherbitchen.
