Is Salvatore worth reading? That's up for debate, but I don't see why anyone would care enough to bother.

Is Salvatore's Dark Elf Trilogy a good source for someone looking for information or ideas on drow, in particular those represented in areas in CF? I don't see how any sane person could say no.

Analogy: Someone posts asking for sources for RPing a character raised in the Shire. Someone says read Tolkien. I post back saying I think Tolkien's writing is boring as all hell.

Doesn't make much sense, does it?
