Silly Khiravn: I posted my email in the first part of this thread. And Ingvar wasn't evil aligned... he hated the Marans for trying to impose their beliefs on others, when he felt they were based on empty, hypocritical inventions of human society. (n/t):

> You know, when I read your journal just now in that post, it brings the entire situation back to me. I remember it much more vividly, now. I remember being stunned when I'd seen you'd joined the Skarabs, and I couldn't believe it was the same Ingvar that was so predisposed to looking into the meaning of things and who promised he'd think on what I said after our conversation (and that it would continue later) - that that Ingvar was there at the Temple calling down revenants on me and the Maran, and yet, thinking on it again, there was some continuity there. This is going to sound weird, but before Khiravn, I (as a player) always looked at the people playing evil-aligns as multi-kill one dimensionsals disrupting the play for roleplayers (and thus had to be stopped :P) - I couldn't imagine there being some sort of depth behind their actions.

It's a pretty rich fantasy world, if you can remove yourself from the sheer power gaming mechanics of it. I guess I lost that in my character after Khiravn (a necromancer), and I suspect Challen might have also, given his lack of joy for playing Peroleth. So, that being said, thanks to you and Shinkoujinei for making Khiravn so much fun to play. Wish I had time to roll up another.
