For followers of Nepenthe, or even remotely Imperials (Sect leaders, Emperors), I recommend Ayn Rand's works on Objectivism - I showed a little of this with Mithadris, and plan to play a character with a strong Objectivist feel later on.

Ayn Rand "Atlas Shrugged" is a good place to start.
