I've never heard of a detect hidden potion or scroll. There's an item you can wear that will allow you to see hidden. Being a thief, assassin, or duergar will allow you to see hidden. Being a conjurer with certain familiars will sorta allow you to see hidden. Being a lich with lifesense will at the very least let you know that somebody may very well be hidden next to you and having the necessary phylactery will allow you to see hidden. Being a transmuter with certain forms will allow you to see hidden.

But beyond those instances, you're outta luck.
