Many might have misunderstood what i ment in my post. What I inteded to pass to others in meaning is that yes you have to not do ooc shit. Yes that is roleplaying, no it is not haveing a flawless 60 page role log, no it is not roleplaying 24/7.

Some people may spend hours apon hours setting up a role, and 100's of hours doing little silly things in the game that overall build a character. Yes it is fun - i've done it myself with a couple characters. I was the cause, I think, for the role ability being put into the game after a certain sphere deception character of mine got fucked over by a imm who snooped me for 10 seconds and gave me a title declaring to all what my sphere deception roll was. 300 game hours of a character wasted by a imms trigger finger. I wasnt impressed about it and shortly afterwards the role command poped up. Which i say Should be looked into more before imms get to trigger happy.

Anyway back to my original point. Roleplaying is compulsary on cf, The skill level require to roleplay isnt. Dont discrimnate against those that dont roleplay well. Not everyone is able to roleplay as well as others, just as some arnt able to pk as well as others.

In my view i've seen players that have had next to no history and no character aspects or traits to his roleplay. They have not once mentioned anything ooc. I've also come across players that have massive lists of traits aspects and kewl little things that involve their characters, yes i liked it alot, but i lost all respect for them as soon as they said something like: ooc, going for a piss. Or : Brb have to reconnect.

PLAYERS need to rember that this is a game, yes roleplaying makes it better, but dont forget not everyone is able to roleplay 100% and flawlessly. The game has certain aspects about it that cannot be explained easily.

Some hints and tips to combat some simple issues.

If your groupie is talking lots of ooc.
mention something about you dont know what he is talking about.
How it is scarying you, that he is gibbering on about something no one understands.
Ask him if he is possessed.

If you have to reconnect to your isp..
I've seen a couple of these. here are my favorites.
*** tells the group "That dwarven brew was strong... i thik im.."
**** vomits.
**** tells the group "my head is spinning, please keep watch for a moment i might pass out"

**** Say's 'Give me a moment I must spirit walk'
the animation leaves ****.

There are two that i've seen that i think are greate for roleplaying around a extremly commen aspect of irl playing Cf.

PS: You dont discriminate against those who can pk well, Dont discriminate against those who dont roleplay well.
