Gaaste: A Revelation
To: Immortal Empire Arbiter Master Sylvan Battle Entropy Scarab Dawn

The Empire's weakness shall no longer be my own.
I have awoken from my blindness, and it is in my awakening that I have
realized the true folly of the Empire, the true nature of its weakness,
and it is now that I stand as judge and jury and condemn it.

Its folly is large. Nothing can stand for eternity against the barrage
which is assailed upon the Palace, and nothing so weak as the Empire,
built upon deceit, not order, cowardice, not structure, can hope to
hold off its assailants for any longer.

It will fall, and so will all the Citizens. I deem here that my own
corpse shall not be numbered among those who perish.

Whoever is too complacent to think for himself and be his own judge
manages to accommodate himself to the 'shalt-nots' as they exist at
the present time. It is easy for him. But there are others who are
conscious of the commandments in themselves: things are forbidden to
them which every man does every day of his life, and other things are
permitted to them which are otherwise prohibited.

Every man must stand alone. And so shall I.
