He would indeed be formidable. As stated seeing hidden is great and a Paladin is going to be a tough fight no matter what. You'd have the strength dex and con to kick ass, as well as; picklock and berserk. And since you'd use magic your compainons when grouped would add your prowess.
Major downside is that for your specs with the low int it'd be prac prac prac. Good luck to you
