I am by no means an elite player of cf...but for the most part I have played everyclass avaliable. And after saying such, I will have to point out the one, greatest thing sbout CF. Diversity.

It appears that the #1 thing the immortals are working on is making thera a more diverse realm. Both in the areas, as well as the classes/races avaliable.

It appears that the last few changes made have been nearly all centered towards making the game more diverse. Look at warriors...specializations....assassins...added kicks...APs...added new skills...Empire, a cabal filled with diverse sects with diverse capabilities. Battle...same, different ragers with different abilities.
So was it that big a shock to see the new paladins? Not only are they either shield or two-handed...their extra "gifts" further make them diverse. Now, when you face a paladin you cant be really sure what to expect. Are they defensive oriented? Are the assault oriented? Are they more of a group supporter?

And as to my thanks. It is refreshing, and exciting to see what may happen to my character next...I dont know what skills he will be given...or even if he will be given anymore at all? The powers bestowed may be dependant upon their chosen lord...or they could be chosen by the lord to fit the characters personality. I had a relatively peaceful oriented paladin...his powers were more supportive in appearance...I know of more violent tempered paladins, and their blessings are more aimed at laying a smack down upon evil. And from what I can tell this is a great idea. I personally, as a player, suck at pking. Its been like this since I started playing. I should probably roll up an AP or an assassin follow sphere death, and kill everything that walks. Just to learn how. But I have found it much more fun, at least for me, to group with people, go exploring, and fight mobs. We are all different. I am damn glad that we now have a class that can completely cater to my wishes. I wont go into detail on the powers I was given, but I will say this. They may not make me able to make me a powerhouse, but damn they add spice! And, for someone that doesnt have hours upon hours to play (having a career sucks) I need spice.

So, I didnt mean to draw this out. But I do want to again thank the immortals and all those who brainstormed the revamped Paladins. I also want to thank the immortals who actively aid in making them a pleasureable class by being active in their growth.

I know this for sure...I will be playing paladins for a long time to come.

I thank you, thank you, thank you.
