is that if you nightgaunted someone whille they were in Town, or recalled to town and the bugger tracked, you should be wantede. Ofcourse it will be hard to prove it was your NG but that I will leave to the arbiters.
But as the law is concern, you are breaking it with an attack in town, no matter where you are at the time the NG swoops down.

Anyway, I think NG should be removed since it have really messed up my hero-range enjoyment.
