If you saved an elf as an evil and didn't have a good RP reason, you deserved what you got. If you get a paladin unempowered, it's very likely that you're going to deserve that to. You see, this isn't a game to your character. It's life. It's exactly how you feel right now, sitting at your computer reading this. Who knows, maybe some weird intergalactic space alien is pushing in your commands right now. That's how you should look at it. If you do something that is out of the ordinary for your race/class/align/ethos/cabal/sphere it should be in your role, even if it appears minor. By putting it there you're virtually guaranteeing that you're not going to get screwed with by immortals, that is, if it's not some stupid rationalization like "Oh, I wear these so that I'm reminded that evil exists." If you're thinking that what you're writing in your role or in your desc or whatevva tha fuck is just a pile of bullshit that's going to keep you from getting screwed with it's likely going to be viewed as such by the imms. It's gotta make sense and there's gotta be decent reasoning behind it. I personally think that people get away with too much. I've done things with my characters that I regret and I think to myself "If I get busted for this it's completely my fault 'cause it was stupid." It basically comes down to this. If you don't want to get screwed with, make sure that there is a reason behind your every action. This includes the mobs you kill, the gear you wear, the people you pk, and everything else. In real life you do things for a reason, whether it's for sheer enjoyment or because you feel it's your duty. Your character would feel the same way. We're just lucky that Buddha, or God, or Allah, or Joe Pesci(reference to a George Carlin Comedy Hour) doesn't keep us abreast of how pleased he/she/it is with us. He/she/it just waits till it's all over then rams the whole shaft deep into our asses. Thank your lucky stars the imms don't do that, cause then you'd feel really cheated. Suck it up, or play POSmud.
