> Mercy is for the weak. We do not train to be merciful here. A man confronts you on the street, he is your enemy. Enemies deserve no mercy. > Lesson: That pretty much says it. Unless your role lends itself to mercy, don't be merciful. It can only bite you in the ass later. > Lesson: Cheaters never prosper. . . at least, not forever. > Lesson: If you don't make actually winning your goal (rather than some stupid thing like saccing your opponent's weapon before you die) you never really will. Winning is the only thing: We have a different definition of winning as regards CF I believe. Who are the winner's from your perspective? I get the point that a role like Minalcar's without his attendant skills in the CF combat system wouldn't have made the back pages of the weekly reader. Do you think that there is a place in CF for those that could care less if they win, just as long as they don't lose all of the time? :P I meant to have a focused reply and it turned into a rambling discourse. Oh hell. For me personally, I do not but in the time or effort into CF to be "elite" in either sense. But I still enjoy the escape it offers. Peace
Nah, Be merciful if you are a lightfollower. It is what you are payed to do regardless of the consequences.

Minalcar because of his role, or because of his battle prowess? Or both?
That elf necromancer for her role, or her battle prowess? Or both?
Or:
Best supporting actor/actress:
The guy that back's up and embellishes a role like Minalcar's, that Emporer, or that elf necromancer. Without who's support, the role would never clear the ground. A LOT of that supporting roleplaying is an imms in some cases.
