Cloud rangers pack hard hits. If a necro sleeps you though, you can be in deep trouble. Also, you only get 2 practices per level and your max INT is just low enough so that you can only get a skill up to 70% if you use those two practices on it. I tried to play one, but I guess I'm too impatient to practice that much.
