In Reply to: My farewells are on the char board, here's some text for Daryl and anybody interested in why I'm now jaded as per Arbiters posted by Dardignac(VIP) on October 25, 2000 at 20:55:08:
> Arbiter1-I've seen this person more often in guilds that aren't his than in the guild that is. He's not in there to investigate, I know 'cause he's the only one in there on most occassions. Who cares, ohh I saw an Arbiter in a guild. What does it matter to you > Arbiters2-I also saw in a guild that wasn't his. See above > Arbiter1-Also flagged me for a crime I did not commit. There was no yell, there were no witnesses and I swear on my testicles that there was no crime. I didn't attack Lelana in Galadon, but I got the flag anyhow. Del and Pel killed Lelana, I didn't touch the bitch. Several occations I have been asked to frame someone for a crime they didn't commit. All you have to do is get 2 or 3 people to say you attacked them in say Udgaard, and bang all you have is your word because you where running around fighting with the guy who tried to frame you. Heck I have even seen some Empires that do it to Ragers just to get the Arbiters to go fight someone they don't want to deal with. > Arbiter1-Also left after he died once. If he lost his gear fine, if he didn't he's a sorry bastard for leaving to avoid having it taken by the 5 or 6 hero level criminals. Puss. I have died often and sometimes, after you have died it is a good idea to leave, it keeps you from doing something that might ruin your character for later. I say good on him, he stayed till he died. There is no reason for people to be martyr's (unless you are a Knight from earlier times or if you are one of those idiot barbarians that died 6 times to the Masters trying to get your magic head back in less than 1 hour).
