Apparently you have absolutely no idea about the point of playing a thief. THE POINT OF A THIEF IS SO YOU CAN CATCH PEOPLE UNPREPARED. That is why we have hide and other assorted skills that are aimed towards us getting the drop on people. Oh yeah, and no you're getting retarded. Waiting at somebody's recall point and almost killing them because they're unprepared has absolutely nothing to do with luck. > 90% of all battles are won or lost by being prepared. You could easily kill even Istendil if you caught him without wraithform and his other goodies. So, I am not even going to consider the few times you get luckly and wait at a recall point for someone to appear. More power to you if you do that, I sure as hell will not. > But....I bet in a dual, a fire giant shaman against a thief, the shaman would win 99% of the time just with normal magics and communes they can get in the game and not quest stuff. > My question is why doesn't this shaman die more often? He seems totally over confident in almost everything he does. I guess there is a lack of thief/arcane mutters running around these days.
