> The point he is trying to get across is: not _ONLY_ is Pikel an unoriginal name...but get this...Pikel the character acts _EXACTLY_ like Pikel from the Forgotten Realms books written by one R.A. Salvatore. Now if his name was Pikel and acted a tad different...it would still be lame...just not as lame as HAVING YOUR WHOLE FUCKING CHARACTER BASICALLY IMPORTED FROM A POPULAR PIECE OF LITERATURE. The green hair - Pikel from the book. The child-like nature and mangled "English" - Pikel from the book. The fact that he was a druid in the books...and let's see Pikel the character is a shaman in Sylvan...pretty close to a druid. I hope I pointed enough similarities out to show that HE'S A COMPLETE FUCKING RIP-OFF AND DOESN'T DESERVE BEING EMPOWERED...AND _ESPECIALLY_ BEING CAPTAIN OF SYLVAN. Thank you for some time, and I hope this little rant I wrote between homework for college enlightens you a little or at least cleans out your bowels in an efficent manner.

His point was clear enough, but let me make my
point in regards to this whole mess.

It is the job of Pikel's player to bring Pikel
to life. He is given some basic guidelines, and
examples from the book on how to approach the
character, but the player has to act and play it
appropriately. Pikel's player can't refer to the
book everytime something new comes up.
