Again, when you type a command it goes from your PC to your ISP along a route to the mud, in basic terms. When you type a command the first place it goes is to your PC, ie your log, and last i checked the mud doesn't echo when it gets your command on your screen until the point at which the action starts. So as i see it no matter the lag in between you and the mud your commands as you see it would have to be seen as you entered them. And i have no clue what you would be fighting spamming Impale without a target at least 2 times more likely 3 times, if nothing else maybe you should always use a target name for your impales.
