First, you had the first attack if you wished, but you threw that away, a mistake.
Second, dirt kick is most useful for disarming, since he was bare handed, you were just losing time there.
Third, scissor kick has a HUGE lag on you, throw is better in that aspect and does more damage.
Fourth, since you know he'll attempt to disarm you, lag him.
Fifth, nerve takes too little strength, it's almost useless.

With an assassin I usually start with either trip or dirt kick:
1: trip, throw, throw, throw (when I know I'll do more damage than the opponent).
2: dirt, disarm, throw, throw, throw (for a warrior, like in this case).
Both lowbie tactics. And remember, *never* spam.
