So instead of the masters having transform, they can get beat down by ragers with deathblow and spellbane? Until mages get up to mid 30's, they'll get wupped on constantly by a well-equipped fighter. Take away transform, and masters would be dead constantly by ragers. Personally, I liked the old battle/master, justice/entropy, shadow/knight fights better, because nobody would really side with anyone else. But now, with cabal politics and everything, every cabal wants two or three other items, therefore one cabal needs to be super strong to defend against the two or three other cabals that they're against. Doing this makes sure that once a cabal is powerful, it will take a long time for it to come back. I had a master a year ago, when they were probably the most powerful cabal at the time. Now, they suck, and nobody wants to be one. Power swings have to be quick, a month or two, not a year, because nobody has a character for a year, other than Grummore, who should have been deleted a LONG time ago.
