Since everyone else has given their opinion on the subject
I will as well. It's not the game mechanics, it's not the cabal
politics. It's the lack of TRUE players. All that I have seen
recently are a bunch of people concerned only with numbers. And
quite frankly, that upsets me dearly. I have been playing this
game not quite as long as others, but I have been here a good
while and I remember the days of knight's and shadow. I was niether
at the time, but I remember having a blast just ROLEPLAYING and not
fighting at all. My first warrior that I actually had fun with was
a trouper and made a name for himself for those that hung out at the
Inn. And for hours and hours and hours I'd just sit there with my friends
and goof off. Or we'd all go out and kill stuff, try rather, that we shouldn't.
Like oversized dragons :) Anyhow, my point is that it's partially related to
the player base and partially due to the fact that Roleplaying is no longer
the focus here. It's started to become a game of numbers. I'll admit, I kept up
with the kills with my last warrior and before I quit him I had totaled over 80 kills
IN groups and alone. So my solution to the matter is to put more emphases upon the role
of the character rather than how many kills he can get.

Well... There's my little tid bit of information.
