Well, to approach a tiger/lion in the wild would be sheer folly in this day and age, but in the past people did hunt them for sport and unless they were careless the didn't die too often to their intended prey. As for you getting your butt handed to you, well get protections ie aura/shield/barrier/stoneskin and spend more time in your form...the more time in form the better they are. And do you really think that a 12-15 foot tall giant with muscles coming out his but is really gonna be phased by that little kitty-lion/tiger- he sees? It would come up to what his knee maybe? Are you terrified of big house cats? Is one gonna kill you? And as for being blackjacked it is not the force of the blow, it is putting the blow in the appropriate place to cause loss of conscienceness(sp) and every thing has weak spots.
