Sooner or later people realize that they could be gaining exp a lot quicker if they weren't fighting something that was being aided by others. You don't have to sit there and whine to the defiler, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO KILL THEM EITHER! Annoy them long enough and they will leave. If Sylvans had a halfway decent protective power it wouldn't be hard. I understand where you're coming from, and if all I had was sorry ass herbs and armor I'd probably resort to violence to.
