Help Find Familiar
One of the most time consuming spells an initate of the void can
cast is the spell of find familiar. Delving through the prime
material, the magi seeks a familiar which resonates with his
or her own dark soul. The familiar a scholar takes is determined
at birth, and does not change throughout the scholar's life.
The coming of a familiar brings more health and a greater ability
to channel magic for the caster, but carries with it a price: Should
a familiar die, the caster will bear the pain of its loss until their
own death. Familiars also have special abilities, that the caster
will have to discover on their own.
