> There were like 30 on the other evening. Is it fun to run around in Nazi-death-squad groups of ten and kill the one or two people who actually are around? Is that challenging to you all? I don't know about you all, but I play this game to be challenged, both in roleplaying and in fighting situations. Empire is the evil dumbfuck cabal, but there's talented players playing it all the time. Why? Are the prospects of gangbanging and running up the pklist that enticing? Or is it just that you know that you'll never really have to chance dying, or expected to quit out when odds are against you, to come back when they are in your favor? No offense, but that's CHEATING, and it's completely part of Empire ideology and acceptable from what I've seen. Empire's don't even have the balls to show up for an even-odds raid, for christ's sake. What fucking fun is it to play a character who doesn't take chances, never fights when there's a chance he'll lose, actually might get into trouble for doing so? Goddamn, are you people so fucking weak that you can't take a challenge? Empire as a cabal just doesn't work.. the way it is intended, it might, with the sects not helping each other, them warring with *everyone*, not just convenient selection of cabals that won't beat their ass into the ground. I don't know if the Empire Immortals just aren't around enough to watch over them (in which case, someone who *is* around enough should be in charge), just have no idea how it's supposed to be run (in which case, someone who doesn't have their head up their ass should be in charge) or if they just don't care. Tureanthen uninducted everyone (which was needed) then turned around and a week later the same stupid fucks who were the problem are back inducted or worse, sect leaders. He (Tur) promised things would be different regarding sect helping, weak people being anathema, and so forth. Many doubted him publicly, I personally hoped he wasn't just talking out of his ass.. but he clearly was. Maybe he's busy irl and hasn't had the time to watch them like he said he would. But, goddamn, for the Empire cabal to work the way it's intended to, with high turnover, etc, you HAVE to have an Imm in charge of the cabal who's around and is heartless. Someone like Cador or Sebeok.. a real bastard.

> Tarek, Kifar, Vashrak, Ellamandaria.. you all still alive, or are you busy playing your conjurers or Imperials? I figured you started disappearing for a while because there wasn't much competition anymore, but there's certainly some now for you. If you're playing masters or empires or conjurers or whatever, that's really fucking pathetic. Good players should pick challenging roles. You all did that, but seem to now have abandoned them. That's disgusting to me. If real life has taken precedence and you're not playing at all for that reason, then I apologize.. but if you're busy with other characters in Empire, or conjurers or something similar, that's really weak.

Empire is an utter joke. It doesn't really surprise me that things really haven't changed that much. When a divine member is going out of his way to protect a blade, or the arcane who runs down the imperial road to save that divine, I sit there and wonder how things have changed.
In a short amount of time, this cabal has managed to rebuild itself to ridiculous levels. This cabal was just purged for the most part, and tougher standards were supposed to have been introduced? I'd like someone to tell my why becoming a citizen isn't an elite happening? Why does every single dumbshit who oaths get into this cabal. I can imagine a lot of oaths running around but citizenship should be damn difficult or at least on some level with the other cabals.

Of course, I still haven't heard a reason why the Tower is kept out of all this. Besides the fact that most of the imperials, play masters, or have friends that do, why is the Orb excluded? Is it because they are non-aggressive? They haven't been a power to be feared in a while. Certainly, an empire seeking to dominate everyone would take advantage. Not this one it seems.

Empire and it's implementation drives me nuts, and I shouldn't even let it get to me but it does. Shadow was replaced because most of the people couldn't roleplay that damn thing. Empire was a better replacement?

Enough whining for me for one day. Anyone have to prozac they can sell me? ;)
