Well, after their mortal conjurers beat the hell out of some folks with it, at least. > Obviously you're more interested in trying to piss us off instead of getting a real response or improving the game. Mission accomplished. No, actually I'd like a real response.. I'm just a bit frustrated with what seems to be a lack of concern for something clearly overpowered. The imms and mortal conjurers was a poor attempt at sarcasm. > > surely this should've been realized before they went in and disgusted everyone. > Or better yet, how about we just stop trying anything new? Really, why put a hundred hours of work into something that will ultimately just "disgust" everyone? You're missing the point. I think conjurers are way fucking cool, and without new things such as this, the mud stagnates. I honestly thank you and everyone else involved with them. However, for something that was in development for so long, better testing should have occured. > In an effort to balance the class in a real way we chose a group of six mortals to test out the class in production with the rest of the mud. But they couldn't keep their fucking mouths shut and decided to leak the list of players and ruined the test. Twice. That, ultimately, is disgusting. That is disgusting, you're right. From what I've heard (albeit rumors) of your list of mortals/imms to play them, the result seems fitting. It just seems that certain things which should have been obvious during any rudimentary testing were not found, and were (obviously) subsequently abused, causing frustration in many.
