I'm taking a wild stab here, and guessing that H-elves offer the best, humans are second, then elves and the other races are lower.

Please remember that I don't have a clue what I'm talking about, but if I had to guess, I'd say that it was..

H-Elf 23 (base 20)
Human 22 (Base 19)
Elf 21

Most of the others I'd say fell around 19 or lower. Remember humans and half elves get a bonus 3 Chr for it being their prime stat, so they are probably going to be the best choices in most cases.

I think long long ago Diku had up a list of the Chr for all races.. probably should ask one of them to tell you.
