Heh, yeah, I got into masters but like any other cabal I joined for the last 1 and a half year, I always (well, of course my first time took more, a week) get inducted in 5-15 minutes (past the fucking long time to find the leader).
Is it because it's too easy to get into, or cause I actually build a profile for my char so every damn question they throw at me I already knew the answer? Maybe both.
Another point is that I don't recall ever having to fullfil a quest for that... (again, exception made on the first cabal)
People may say "yeah, I get in xxxx in 0 time too", but the point is that I only try cabals I've never been before, don't know how it works internally, then get bored and make a non-caballed char (til they make another cabal). It's easy to get into a cabal a second time.
But know what, I enjoyed more the first induction process, for the challenge if nothing else.
On another topic, it gets harder to see a good induction process when imms starts a flame war among themselves. Things like (HYPOTHETICALLY!!!) "Shokai tells Agathocles 'Maybe with Tureanthen they have a REAL imm leader!'" turns into "induct more and crush the knights to oblivion", or even some imms suggesting a good leader from some cabal to play his next char on the said imm cabal...
so, what I am saying is that, as long as it can be made down-up, it's hard to do it when it's already an up-down thing. Yes, a single word from the imms leaders can change everything, but all of them must say it and commit themselves to it.
On a personnal note, isn't inspiration a bitch? Do you need to have that godsent idea for a char when you just put 140 hours in a char??? *frown*
