Ok here is the deal. You say you can count the number of clerics on both hands? Look at the wholist during primetime mudding, you will see a lot more clerics than you think there are, remember this includes paladins. Also, empowerment isn't hard at all it just requires patience. If you have given up on getting empowered with less than 30 hours on the char, then you probably do not deserve to have an empowerment class. Sure, I do believe some things about empowerment should be changed, but all in all I think it is a good idea.
