Just because errors in implementation were made in the past does not mean we should not point out and clamor for change things that are wrong now.

Nobody wants to stifle new abilities and new skills. But just because there CAN be a new ability, doesn't mean there SHOULD be one. And time and time again the new powers that come in are too strong and need to be reduced.

Rager powers are exactly that. Too much. And they need to be toned down. I think that is what Arolin is saying, as well, and suggesting better testing processes to prevent this in the future.

I am sure Arolin will correct me if I am misrepresenting his position.
