Hello Blare,
There are three common items in use here.
Gray and white wand, Metalic Wand, and one more I can't recall the name of now. What they do I will not reveal, but let me just tell you that they contain powerful magic.
In order to find thise wands you will have to read room-desc and be creative, or blackmail someone to tell you were they are found. Once you find them, you will know why the locations are keep so secret.

Oh, one last thing, there are many other wands and such, but the effect from thise are not as profound as those mentioned above.
