You'd lose that bet. Being friends ic with the current sylvans, I know that Hilaene was personally responsible for all the inductions, except for probably Pikel (shaman), but also interviewed him. This is nothing against Doveras or Arkand, or any of the previous leaders, but with the strong standards of Sebeok,Voss, and now Hilaene, you just don't see the Galadon sitting, drow grouping, nature killing horrible rp'ers which have marred the past of Sylvan. Is it hard to get in? Yes, it obviously is. Do you have to bust your ass and impress the leadership and be patient for your interview? Yes.. obviously this is true. But I wager it'd be worth it to actually get in, fight against the ridiculous odds against you, and make a difference.. which is what the current cabal members are doing.. A leader who brings a cabal back from the dumps and into some sort of power, while not inducting everything that moves (which obviously doesn't work.. many past leaders of Battle proved that) is a good leader.. mayhaps even a great leader. Case in point.. Thror, he was a great leader. If Hilaene can keep up whatever she's doing and keep Sylvan on the way up, while not compromising her standards.. then she'll also be a great leader, in my book.
