The second part of my message was that new apostles need to be chosen for dawn. Eryndorial is helping a lot with inductions...but talmon is never around. IC i would never show it, but it's annoying as hell always telling young chars that i can't help them and that they need to speak with talmon cause talmon is rarely there to be spoken to. I have two different characters that would serve as wonderful apostles, but i can't find a way to politley ask for the position. It is one that is assigned by Raisa or Selric.

In reply to some of the responses to my previous post:
Dawn does not need to be revamped. It's strong as it is.... Our problem is that we lack strong chars, and the few we have are not often around. No offense to Zexquineyx or Reichanov, but it's almost impossible for me to defend the Haven even with the two of you there. I was well equiped and Septach still managed to kill me(admittedly he rotted me and i con-died, we'd fought four or five times at this point...him always fleeing). I need a way to fend them off so that they won't come back. The conflict with Septach was eye-opening simply because i was talking to him the entire time we fought, and i couldn't help but point out that despite my skills and equipment, i could do almost nothing to effectly get rid of him. There was no way around it...
Now i ask...how am i supposed to defend another of the light if i cannot properly defend myself? Some of you are ignorant enough to suggest that my char is weak in combat...he is not. Dodge, parry, flourintine, ironhands, feint, riposte...all perfected. I'm at a loss here...maybe i should just accept that i cannot help others as a member of the dawn?(i know this not to be the case..i have done a lot in dawn) How can we defend others when we can't defend ourselves?
