That's a good point. A class is something more
than a set of skills. It's about the character
and how he chooses to play it.

I disagree. I think the ideology is set from the
standpoint of game balance and not whether or not
someone who plays the assassin class can play a sylvan
warder type character

I could come before you and play a convincing
assassin who wishes to be a warder. I could point
to martial training, my elven heritage, and my
motivations.


Of course, there is some give and take in such a
situation. If I played this character right, it
wouldn't be a problem.
