Granted, you don't have to follow the help
file to a T, any fool could see that, and it
wasn't my point. Help files are general
guidelines, not set in stone rules. I think
an Imperial ranger is a possible role, with
what you described as definitely being
acceptable. I am not Scarabaeus, but I
would imagine his idea of a scarab paladin
or an Imperial paladin actually somewhat does
stick close to how a paladin should act.
Otherwise, they're not a paladin. It's a
simple concept, one which you (and others)
seem to fail to grasp. You can't have lawful
Entropies, you can't have chaotic Masters,
you can't have Rager transmuters. Being one
procludes you from being the other. The same
holds for Sylvan assassins, or any evil
sylvan.
