We all know nightgaunts are not unstoppable. A lone person can take one out, easily in a group of two or more. So if these gaunts die, they'd probably be pissed at the guy who sent them:
If a gaunt dies to his target, the gaunt should come back at the next dusk and attack the conjurer. This way it would keep conjurers from constantly nightgaunting people.
