The decay thing was my idea. I also said weather, carrion-eaters, and the like would affect the results, limiting the number of returns you get back.

Certainly you'd be able to tell the difference between a fireball and a nova, the examples I gave were never meant to be used, just generic ones.

Perhaps you could give entropy an ability to "goof up" corpses, else just give everybody a command to use and have it have like a 25% chance of altering the corpse to differing degrees.

It'd be like bind/unbind(everybody can unbind).

A criminal could "alter corpse" and get something like:

-You only slightly alter the corpse. You're busted for sure!
-You alter the corpse quite well. You'd still better work to cover your tracks though!
-It's not even a corpse anymore, it looks more like a pile of horse dung. No way they can pin it to you!
