If the transformation is complete, and successful, the paladin is perma-flied, is resistant to weapon attacks, and is resistant to negative attacks. It also returns to its owner when he/she/it dies.

Seems to me that there is no reason a Paladin who undergoes the transformation into an angel should end up "resistant" to negative attacks. Rather, he should be invulnerable to holy attacks, but should have a vulnerability to negative attacks.

On a side note, I think that having a "quest" for paladins to become more of a holy warrior, or an angel is an interesting idea, and has merit. Might encourage more people to play paladins.
