I am quitting CF for only one main reason. The lack of roleplay that I have seen. The MUD its self is and Excellent and very well thought out game, thanks to the IMMS that have put their blood, sweat and tears into making it such a great game. But in all my journies within the realms I have learned that CF is a mid-evil based roleplaying game. I very rarely see, now-a-days, and efort at even trying to speak in any way that would be considered role-play.
Also the senseless PK'rs out there that may have a great RP for their characters but in no way even try to roleplay their kills.
I have made many a charcter in CF, and practiced and trained to perfection only to have the slain by some idiot with a bad ass sword and clothes. And when I roleplay my death with him the only response i get would be "It was your time to die." or some shit like that.
Well thanks to people that cannot roleplay or dont even try I am leaving the Mudding scene.
Kudos to all the IMMS of CF. You have made and excellent game. To bad you have no control over the roleplay of persons.
