I am not going to attempt to make individual accusations, based on second hand information, or based on things I’ve seen myself. The purpose of this whole series of e-mails is to solve problems, not insult people or to give me an opportunity to act like an asshole. That being said, I do, however, feel justified in making the following statement, based on what myself and others have seen over the past several years. Immortal cheating exists and occurs often enough to cause problems. Hypocrisy is the fastest and most assured way of loosing moral authority. The rules you have against cheating are fair and should be enforced but if you don’t live up to your own standards, people will feel justified in breaking the rules since the enforcers of these rules, the Imms, don’t follow them either. It is arrogant, in a way, to expect others to follow rules that one does not follow themselves and probably does a good deal in explaining why the image of your Immortal staff and the respect given to you has suffered as of late. You would be surprised to discover how much knowledge, of what you do, filters down to us. I’m not going to say anymore on this topic other than I strongly recommend that you endeavor to cleanse corruption and nepotism in your staff and hold yourselves to the same standards that you enforce on others. Doing so will improve your image in the playerbase, give you moral authority and respect, and go a long way in re-establishing credibility in the eyes of the players.
