Gangbanging, group killing, and all of this, as you say, would not (nor should it be) a problem, if everyone were to follow rule #2, and refrain from OOC knowledge. However, the predominance in the game of OOC "Cliques", be they same site computer lab, irc/icq linked friends in separate physical locations, or what have you, has grown to dominate the game. Worse yet is the fact that this extends even to some of the Immortals, and worst of all is that certain ones are among the biggest offenders where this is concerned. If anyone thinks that the Diku clan was bad in terms of sharing information about the game, simply imagine what a group of players led by an Immortal, and informed of code, tactics, item statistics, abilities, etc, by that Immortal, could achieve. Then, realize that this is happening, right now, and has been for some time. I don't know to what extent the other Immortals and the Implementors are aware of these kinds of actions, but I can only pray that they have been in the dark, and will take steps to correct this, and expel the Immortals responsible from the staff of CF's Imms, as these persons have no place whatsoever in a position of power.
