In Reply to: My point is that socially, how do we know skaven and felar are different? There is no information on Felar (text) posted by Graham on July 6, 2000 at 03:22:30:
Graham, you posted a link to a page, saying "see here for cultural info on FELAR". There is nothing on that page about felar. You, the poster, knew that you were talking about the Skaven when you posted that. I, and I think a few other people, would not have guessed without being told that you were referring to the skaven because rats and cats are rather different in real life. If there had been a cat-based society on that page, I think I could have put them together. Really, I expected from the brevity of your subject that there would be an actual "felar" link. I have seen that name used for cat societies on other muds. Instead of simply saying "oh, read the Skaven article, that's what I was talking about", you insulted my intelligence and then yelled at me when I explained why I had misunderstood you. Now you say that Blackclaw village does not have enough information in it. Very well. Perhaps that should have been said at the beginning of the thread. The felar are a very young race, only recently (relatively) created and still finding their way. They do not have a uniform culture, and I doubt they ever will. I'm sorry that you seem to be unable to accept that. And now, you continue to be demeaning and derogatory toward me and others, and I don't intend to ever read another one of your posts again, because it is not worth my time.
