Isn't there something inherently evil with enslaving anything or anyone? Murder is evil, but Marans do murder. This is because they see killing evil as righteous. There is nothing righteous about enslavement. Marans dont want to enslave evil to control them. They want a world free or evil. > I used nightgaunts because they're damn powerful, and you can pretty much kill off 90% of your opponents without having to worry about dying yourself. It takes absolutely no skill to use them, and the reason I rolled up a conjurer in the first place was to try to see if they really were as overpowered as people said. I haven't used nightgaunts much with my other conjurers for some reason, but I'm going to with the next ones. You're right, they are damn powerful, and I know how successful one can be with them. The class does suffer some without nightgaunts, but you did want to be a Maran. > You will forgive me if I don't really seem to care if you laugh at my posts? You sound like you played one of the imperials I killed. You shouldn't care, although your original post made it sound like you were wronged and were seeking vindication here. I'm glad to see you are thinking about it seriously.(Well, as seriously as you can take anything else in this game.) > But I would very much like to know if this is official dogma, that binding evil creatures as a maran is a big no-no. I want to hear what shokai says on this too. > Shokai?
> Enslaving an evil creature to kill another evil creature is NOT the same as becoming evil.
